The airplane was donated by the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, NY. It was featured in popular mechanics in 1968 and known as Jeanie's Teenie. When in operation, the plane (powered by a VW engine) had a take=off speed of around 40mph and a cruising speed of around 85mph.
Today, the airplane is on its perch among my tree house village. Future pilots can enter the cockpit and move the controls. The controls are still connected, and will move the wings and tail.
Although not all photos are posted during the raising of the airplane, you can get an idea how I was able to raise the airplane by hand.
This page is still under construction. Descriptive text and more photos will be added soon!
